The last time I photographed Richard Kessler was at his Grand Bohemian location in downtown Orlando. This time around I was asked to photograph the Poseidon Spa at the Castle Hotel location off I-Drive which is also owned by Richard Kessler. The day of the shoot, the weather was cloudy, cold and foggy. In my opinion it was the perfect day for a spa shoot. Here are a few images from that shoot.

Travel Zoo / Victory Casino boat shoot
The editors at Travelzoo asked me if I’d shoot the Victory Casino out of Port Canaveral for an upcoming story. Specifically they wanted an image of the ship with no marina or dock in it. This meant either camp out on the inlet or... take my aerial quad copter out to sea. The choice was easy but flying off the top deck 4 miles out proved to not be so easy. I was shocked at how many people had just watched the 60 minutes story on aerial drones. Many people asked if I worked for Amazon and I laughed. As I made my way through the ship, it was awesome to see how much interest there was to see the quad fly. A little over a year ago when my fascination for these RC quad copters started I never dreamed I’d be flying one off a ship out at sea for an assignment. Here's what I came up with:

Leadbetter Golf / JoS.A.Bank
Here's my latest shoot with golf legend David Leadbetter. The ad shoot was to help promote JoS.A.Bank and the Leadbetter Golf academy. The shoot itself took place at Davids house on the west coast. 
Stetson University

was contacted by the folks at Stetson University to work on some new marketing collateral. At first I thought they were calling me to shoot for their Deland campus but was surprised when it was for their Celebration campus. I enjoyed working with the team at Stetson and look forward to the next one! Here's some of the collateral we created: 
Walden EDU - Change Makers
A few months back I was asked to photograph a few graduates of Walden University for their upcoming "Change Makers" brochure. Being that I love shooting environmental portraits this assignment was right up my alley. I photographed Ginger Jenkins in the old Orlando Courthouse, where Ted Bundy was tried. Ronessa was photographed downtown Sanford. 
Orlando Ballet - Vampires Ball
The Orlando Ballet asked I photograph dancers for their much awaited Vampires Ball that showed at the Bob Carr. The images ended up in the Orlando Sentinel and were on billboards all over town. Here are some images:
Orlando Ballet
Last month I had the pleasure of collaborating with creative director Janessa Gursky and fashion stylist Tammara Kohler on Orlando Ballets new campaign. We shot a series of stills and created a short video. Neiman Marcus ended up featuring our project on their Facebook home page. In addition to the campaign stills and video I shot some candid images of an Orlando Ballet recital that was held at the Bob Carr Amphitheatre. Orlando Ballet Movement from carlos amoedo on Vimeo.

Hubbard
On this assignment I spent 2 full days photographing people, sites and construction equipment for Hubbard as part of their marketing/ advertising campaign. Both days I was escorted by Craig, the equipment manager, in a company Ford F150. I was driven to some pretty neat construction sites. One of which included the runway at MCO airport which Hubbard was in the process of resurfacing. I was literally 120 feet from the center of the runway! I recently spoke to Craig and he was kind enough to pass along some of the printed material. 
Jon & Kelsey's Wedding | Riley Farms
I was super excited to fly out and photograph Jon and Kelsey's wedding earlier this month. It was refreshing to see how in love these two are. The last time I saw Kelsey she was 12 so seeing her mature into this young beautiful bride was truly a breath of fresh air. The wedding location was held at Riley Farms, an apple orchard with absolute breathtaking views. I felt honored to be asked to capture this special event and it was awesome to see everyone again.
